Seriously, is this any kind of SEC violation? I am all for free speech but it seems like the this guy is potential tampering with the market by screaming fire in a crowded theater.

About That Santelli Rant . . .
February 19, 2009 02:58 PM ET | Kirk Shinkle | Permanent Link | Print

Rick Santelli's rant today on CNBC about the Obama Administration's housing bailout is weird enough, but what really makes it special is the promo that airs before the clip. It's an ad for CNBC's upcoming special NEWBOs: The Rise of America's New Black Overclass.

So there you go: We now inhabit a world where commodity traders occupy the "silent majority" of hard-working Americans who just don't want to pay for other people's mortgages and we're ruled by a "new black overclass."

8. Just Rick Santelli being Rick Santelli. To his credit, he rants almost daily, many of which have
excoriated various BushCo ludicrousnesses. :P

Edited on Thu Feb-19-09 05:05 PM by Numba6
The asses on business channels who demand tax cuts & MORE DEREGULATION aren't gonna be happy until they back the semis full of cash & dump'em on the trading room floor

Again

& you can bet it will be recast -- glowingly -- ad infinitum as the voice of the silent majority-- the silent majority who make 7 figures
