Oscar Best Picture: "Feiging Outrage", Best Actor: GOP, Supporting: Wall St.
After reigning limply over years of abusive lending and blind-eye watchdog tactics, suddenly they are all channeling Howard Beale in "Network". They don't want to pay for someone else's mortgage after they made money on them now that the jig is up. They are "shocked that is gambling going on here", but they are no Captain Renault. They could not hold up a middle school play.
