Bill says Obama is doing a great job, "BUT" he (Obama) should be more positive at the END of his speeches to assure the american people that we are the greatest country in the world and we will come thru this and be alright.

1. Every interview I've heard, Clinton has said "He doesn't need MAH advice, he's doin' jus' FAHN."

He's been nothing short of effusive and fulsome in his praise for Obama. For all we know, that comment could have been in response to "If you had to come up with something not positive to say, what would it be?"

So, I'd look at how those remarks were edited before you "Bill, Bill, Bill" President Clinton. And since it's ABC doing the interview, I'd probably want to look at the shit they left on the cutting room floor as well.

but if he did, he was right. Obama needs to be more positive in his speeches. Reagan was a master at giving positive speeches. People do not want gloom and doom every day. Obama can tell the truth about our problems and then be positive with a fix.

I don't recall for certain whether the news crawler addressed President Obama as President or not but it said nothing about former President Clinton stating that President Obama was doing a great job.

Of course, Democratic Leaders should expect and be aware that the corporate media will only promote the negative, while eschewing any positive remarks when it comes to the current Democratic Administration and for that matter probably the Democratic controlled Congress as well.

Why? If Obama now ends a talk with words of the sort that Bill was speaking of - even if he already wrote them yesterday, they will now ring hallow. People would say he is saying them for affect and doesn't really believe it. He should have just stopped with the positives in public.

The sad thing is that Obama HAS made exactly that kind of comment - and people not listening may now see a change where there was none - and write it off as just political.
