SCHWARZENEGGER.... Sounds like he's new to Republican politics.

Schwarzenegger said Republicans in Washington must put aside their ideology and work with President Barack Obama on solving the economic crisis.

THE RACE TO BE THE CRAZIEST.... Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) has said he'll reject some of unemployment insurance from the federal stimulus package. Not to be outdone, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R) said he'll not only reject unemployment insurance, but will also "."

Oh, brother. The conspiracy-mongering that Barack Obama is secretly a Kenyan citizen who has hidden his real birth certificate has now found its way into the utterances of a United States Senator: Richard Shelby, Republican of Alabama.

5. It will be the "Arnolds" who will methodically take over the Republican party.
The people who hijacked it are insane and it's really starting to show. At least their previous leaders were a little more "subtle" about their insanity. The newer ones don't know what the word means.

I think there are probably plenty of moderate Republicans who are pretty sick of it.

4. Harry Reid had better get Shelby on the floor to apologize.
Seriously, they really need to make an issue out of this and slam him good. Put an end to this BS once and for all.

I can't remember one lily white president ever having his citizenship questioned by a sitting senator. Who in the hell do these people think they are? Shelby can whine about distortions all he wants. He should never have come close to uttering anything about this.

This is an outrage and demeaning as hell. Why should Obama have to prove his citizenship to Shelby? Has anyone seen Shelby's birth certificate? What an asinine statement.
