It's something about the hair and the broad, collar-like necklace, but she looks very Egyptian in that first picture, and specifically like the famous bust of Nefertiti. And there's more than a bit of Akhenaten in Obama -- especially around the mouth and chin.

is that she has an "imperfect" woman's body and shows it off with a classy, sexy elegance.

Another poster commented on her arms. They are not "perfectly" toned. They're a mom's arms, a woman's arms, and they're beautiful and powerful. One was kind of featured in the Vogue cover and you can tell that there was no fixing up to make it make it look "better." What a fabulous roll model.

I already like my body as is but I'm even beginning to love it. THANK YOU MICHELLE!

After all the stupidity over "why won't he wear a flag pin?" last year, I can just hear him thinking, "You think a flag pin is so f-ing important? Whatever. Fine. I'll wear an f-ing flag pin on everything from now on. I'll put one on my f-ing pajamas! What. Ever."

I don't think I've seen him without that flag pin since, and it looks darned incongruous on that tuxedo. And I bet he at least mentally shakes his head at the inanity of flag pin worship every time he does so.
