I read about it on Free Republic! His Communist Army is going to go state to state subjugating the citizens and of course confiscating everyone's guns. I've read discussions there of what order the states will be attacked in. Apparently the South will be last.

You think I'm kidding? Check out this FR thread, which says that his Army will be drawn from a civilian defense force he will establish, whereas this thread says that the Army will be drawn from his campaign contributors.

The wingnuttiest of the alleged sources for Obama's personal Army is the Middle East. In this thread and many others the Freepers fret because Obama has "invited Hamas terrorists to America". And why would he do that? Why, to use them to take over America and establish a Communist dictatorship, of course. And if you're gonna do that, you gotta have terrorists from the Middle East to help you!

6. I have a college friend suffering from this

He stopped liking Bush and didn't even vote in 2004, but he doesn't recognize how far down the road to fascism, W. led us, but now that Obama has won, he's convinced that 1. we're going to be a communist country within a year and 2. that gun rights will disappear. In fact, he's been make the charge of disappearing gun rights as if they're actually happening right now because there was something in the stimulus package about de-arming Americans. When I showed him a page from the NRA's own websie denying the rumors, he changed the message to it will happen based on Obama's voting records. He is literally beside himself with anger over far-fetched things that are likely not to happen.

I, of course, enjoy goading him. When Obama directed employers to start implementing his tax cuts that were going to save 95% of American $65.00 a month, I sent him an email with the title, "Obama says, 'You're welcome, John.'" Of course, that pissed him off, and he tried to go the line that $65 a month was nothing, and I schooled him by saying, by itself, maybe, but getting $65.00 a month back into the hands of 95% of us probably equates to over an extra billion dollars a month - the majority of which will probably be spent and will hopefully give the economy a jumpstart. It's more than any republican tax cut for the uberrich has ever done.

I've noticed it too its insane! People who never once critisized bush are all over Obama. My dad thinks bush was the greatest president ever and that his stimilus saved the economy from crashing. Dad thinks Obama is bailing out the banks and making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Its ridiculous!

I really don't see how we can survive the combination of an economic collapse and a citizenry that is apparently 30% in sympathy with this kind of red-hot rage and mind-numbing level of fear:

Democratic Socialists of America, there's about 58 of them, Barbara Lee is one of the worst, she is probably the worst, and I'm telling you these people are about to visit ruin on this country, and all because they think its a good idea, because they hate wealth, they hate capital, they hate everything about this country. They were born and breed in the 1960's to hate it, and the 1970's, and now they're in charge of it.
