3. Well, to be fair, he did vote YEA on everything the Dems wanted the past few months.
He also voted to confirm all of President Obama's appointments.

So, as much of an idiot he was being for supporting McCain last year, he's trying to make up for it.

Nevertheless, I still disagree with him on his above-everything-else support of Israel.

8. "Make up for it" or Save his ass...
if he had opposed any appointments or voted against any of the important leglislation that has already gone through, there would be a huge cry for him to lose his chairmanship.

One day, I might get over my suspicions of Lieberman's "loyalty." Today is not that day.

11. That's true. He's still on probation. If he gets out of line, I'd expect the Democratic Caucus
to slap him down figuratively.

4. He usually votes Democratic on domestic issues.
It's the foreign policy that he's right wing about.

7. 84% lifetime rating from the AFL-CIO
That's more than 20 points higher than the most pro-labor GOP senator (Specter) and pretty much in line with the rest of the senate Democrats.

5. I'm glad that Joe Lieberman is an independent now.
Now I don't feel like he's letting me down anymore. He has no alliegance to the democrats so I don't blame him when he sticks a knife in my back. He's just doing what he feels is best for him like he always does.

12. Lieberman has always had a generally progressive track record...
He just tends to get 'stuck on stupid' on certain issues.
