1. The minority response is normal.

But, bobby has a very tough task. No one knows what an Obama SOTU is like. And, he is a lightweight, in over his head. He likely has a few 'catch phrases' written, and other than that it will be generic raygun-zombie drool.

I fully see this response speech a total tactic of trying to rebuild the Republican party. Who cares about the speech, they need a new face, a new image, this is the right place to launch that new marketing campaign. It's clear, all strategy.
