That's the real result of his tax giveaways to big business, and the reason why we're now facing massive shortfalls and why universities are being asked to draw up scenarios for a 30% cut in state funding. Probably not. Jindal was so we know that he isn't stupid. However, he seems to have difficulty with public speaking. He didn't really respond to Obama's address which is what he is supposed to do. Instead, he tried to market himself and promote himself. His speech was an advertisement. He abused the privelege of having free media exposure. He isn't very good at selling himself, because he acts like a robot. Obama has such charisma that the contrast between the two was striking. It is great that he was a Rhodes scholar, but he can't really seem to translate that into any political skill.

If Palin and Jindal are the best they have then that is great for us Democrats.
