Since discussions about Obama's speech are conspicuously lacking on DU today, here's my take on it.

I generally don't give a crap about political speeches except to the extent that they're fun to watch.

But how about that Bobby Jindal?! Wow!

4. My take?

Too many promises. Hopefully, he and Congress can deliver at least on half of them. Very well delivered speech, but that's nothing surprising. Got a great reception from both sides of the aisle and the Repugs were a lot more convivial than they normally are at these things when a Dem. is president.

Nancy was a little over the top. Was she on speed? She kept jumping up every few minutes like wack-a-mole. Biden couldn't keep up. LOL!!!

6. You know what's funny?

I was just talking to a coworker who is a Dem. and he was telling me that the one thing that annoyed him and his family last night was Nancy jumping up and down like she had a spring up her butt. I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed it.
