Responding to a comment that Jindal’s response to President Obama’s address wasn’t the GOP’s best moment, Steele said, “I thought it was OK. I mean, I didn't see it. I heard it -- I was in the car.”

The main point being that the GOP is willing to see a quarter or more of the US population thrown into abject poverty with no support from the government, relying instead upon tax-deductible contributions from those remaining who still enjoy prosperity. Tax cuts are useless in the face of outsourcing, offshoring, H1-B visas, free-market deregulation, and global corporate capitalist monopolization.

8. Jindal Just Sucked

If Steele didn't hear the whole thing, good for him. Bobby Jindal is a smart man. However he came off dumb. Reading a Teleprompter is a skill. It's a skill he's not good at yet. Sarah Palin was good at it. He needs lessons. However, if he was the "great republican hope," he blew it At least he seemed to blow it.
