Obama Goes Gay with new National AIDS Policy Chief

President Obama has chosen Jeffrey S. Crowley, a senior research scholar at Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute, to serve as head the Office of National AIDS Policy.

In a statement released today, Mr. Obama said:



“Jeffrey Crowley brings the experience and expertise that will help our nation address the ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis and help my administration develop policies that will serve Americans with disabilities. In both of these key areas, we continue to face serious challenges and we must take bold steps to meet them. I look forward to Jeffrey’s leadership on these critical issues.”

of the snarky whines of "Ohh, people aren't saying enough nice things about Obama when he does what he's supposed to do -- they only criticize him."

We expect him to do things like this. This is the job we hired him to do. You don't have to get all gushy when he does something he's supposed to do. That's the approach you use when you're paper training a puppy.

I will criticize him when I think he's not doing the right thing, but I'm not going to start 55 threads of praise when he comes into work on time in the morning. That's just silly.

But every time Obama does something we expect him to do, some numbnut jumps into a thread and says "OH, I suppose there won't be anybody commenting on this because it's good. People only comment when it's bad."
