The Chief Justice (A Conservative-leaning judge appointed by a Republican President and confirmed by a Republican Congress) administered the oath of office TWICE.

They were present at his first Presidential Address / State of the Union speech to Congress.




I would think if there was anything remotely concrete about the birth certificate not being valid, or his citizenship status, they wouldn't have done the above.

The birthers claim that Gov. Lingle sealed President Obama's birth records, (thanks to a claim by World Net Daily. Ironically made at the same time she was campaigning for McCain)

The PUMA birthers claim SoS Clinton knew about it, and either can't understand why she didn't bring it up, or believe she's holding it over his head waiting for the right moment.

The RW birthers claim the GOP and McCain knew about it, and either hid it because of McCain's own questionable birth, or were bribed or forced into hiding it.

And of course, since no Congressperson or Senator spoke against it when the electoral count was tallied, they're either part of the conspiracy, or "Obama thugs" are theatening their families to keep them quiet. (No, I'm NOT kidding.)
