Poll question: Who would McCain have given the Gershwin to?
We can assume it wouldn't have been Stevie, or anyone at all listenable for that matter. Make your guesses here:

1. Chuck Norris
Edited on Thu Feb-26-09 11:28 PM by Kittycat
Because he wants to firm up the crazy Huckabee support channel for his 2012 run. It doesn't matter that Chuck isn't a musician - Joe wasn't really a plumber, and Palin wasn't really VP material, and McCain will never be a President.

2. It has to go to a musician.

Still, they might've talked Chuck into putting out a single just to make eligibility.

5. Chuck could just karate dance to Kung Fu Fighting.

Then they could overlay the woosh, crash, bang, thump sounds on to the track, and call it body music.

Besides, since when do GOP Presidents care about rules, especially a pesky one requiring a person to actually be the profession required.

And not that they aren't also awesome, he'd have given the Gershwin to ABBA. ;)

15. And I don't think we have any evidence that Ian Anderson and Co. actually HAVE right-wing politics
Playing the flute while standing on one leg doesn't make you a Tory(and no, I never thought I'd write that last line either).

13. Obama had nothing to do with it...
I read an article that said the Bush administration applied for it at some point last year.

19. Don't know who wrote it. It was performed by the 1910 Fruitgum Company
And I'm deeply ashamed that I know that.
