2. That is why I never watch any of these events on network TV
PBS is my first choice followed by CSPAN then Live Stream if that isn't available.

Network commentators piss me off and I refuse to listen to them.

7. I had to stop too. I was finding that they were totally ruining my
mood. I can't handle them especially with all the other stuff going on in the world. Sitting here applying for jobs at half the pay you're used to, and listening to that shit was making me a really mean lady! LOL!

10. If they let Shuster do it then it would be good. He was just on and played the new AU ad
for a RW blogger (Amanda Carpenter, I think, - she blogs for Townhall). He had her on the defensive the entire time. They still think it was an accident for Obama to bring up Rush during that meeting and for these groups to tie Rush around the Republicans. They are totally clueless.

She also had to defend Republicans by dissing "Joe the Plumber".

It was quite enjoyable. :)

Gregory - not so much.

12. I wonder what David Shuster
and Keith REALLY think of David Gregory. Honestly, they can't watch MTP and see the crap that Gregory lets certain people get away with and think that it's good journalism. He's very one sided these days.

5. WTF are they talking about?!
That old idiot with the beard is first saying that it won't work taking troops out of Iraq, then he's saying that Obama is following the original Bush plan. Then he's like we have to go into Afghanistan and Pakistan because we're having problems there. I don't know if the idiot wants troops here and there. He's acting like we have all the resources in the world to expend on such a ridiculous war. We have to ration out the military properly.

They're trying to sabotage and not really giving the news.

6. he really is bad
and no, it's not bc "I get mad when people criticize the president." He is just a shitty analyst. So boring. Offers nothing. Tim Russert used to piss me off, but at least I found him watchable.

20. I no longer watch MTP either. He ruined it, IMHO.
He, like Chuck E. Tawd, is in way over his head. One would think there would be more qualified people out there looking for employment, but then again, those two are just what GE-TV wants...perfect corporate stooges.

15. He didn't ruin it. He said Obama declared victory (which he did)
and that the reception he received from the troops was staggering, which was also true. I agree that Gregory can be a real asshole, but I haven' heard it today.

23. Well that's not hard to believe because he sucks most of the time!
He was such a total suck-up to the Bush Admin in the first 6 years. It was pathetic the way he drooled over them -- and now they're ALL known as either incompetent boobs and cronies or criminals. In my opinion most of them are both.

His beloved Republican party is hated around the world, and nowhere more than their own country! Suck on that Gregory.

21. Thanks for the recon - but here's a suggestion: Don't watch MSNBC till the EVENING
when rachel, keith and chris are on...

it will keep you sane and in a better mood...

I always end the day with MSNBC and then switch it for the rest of the day...

24. I loathe Gregory.
They should have had Tweety or David Shuster be the aanchor for the speech. Did everyone see him try to get some brownie points for his friend Bush. The mere sight of him ususally gets me changing the channel.
