And since I agree with what he has said he would do - well I'm pretty pleased.

5. So far he has met or exceeded all of my high hopes for him
I thought I loved him during the elections but wow just wow!

Sure there are things he has done that i don't entirely agree with but the level of forthrightness and determination to work his ass off for us more than outweigh and minor quibbles with his actions so far.

Its going to be an awesome 8 years!

8. Gen. Barry McCaffrey on MSNBC just said he had tears in his eyes while watching
Obama, his straight-forward talk to the troops after 8 years of weasel words, and how well he connected to the troops.

Edited on Fri Feb-27-09 01:26 PM by TankLV
to leave early - he SAID during the campaign we'd be out in 16 months, and now he's LYING and CHANGING HIS STORY and saying it'll be now NINETEEN months!

Don't you all SEE the difference?!!!

It's BIG NEWS!

He's GOING BACK on his campaign promises - again!!!

12. I'm fairly pleased
However, I wish he would come out and say the reason we got ourselves into this mess is because of the unsustainable nature of an economy driven by consumer-spending
