An administration official tells ABC News that this evening, President Obama asked Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to serve as his Secretary of Health and Human Services, and she accepted.


The President will formally announce the nomination on Monday afternoon at the White House.


Around the same time, tweetin' Claire McCaskill, the junior senator from Missouri, just posted on her twitter page that she's "A little anxious about the announcement of HHS Sec. Hopeful that my pal Gov of Kansas will get the call. It should happen today or tomorrow."


Fret no more, senator.

She's the only Democrat whose been able to take on the Rethugs and beat 'em. I hope her replacement has learned a thing or two from the Governor about how to manage those a-holes. :scared:
