Last night on Colbert Cramer blamed Obama for "scaring people"
I don't know about you but I've been worried about the economy for a very very long time. Even when the stock market was riding high, the middle class continued to shrink. It was as though you either made it to the top or fell into poverty. I haven't been to a doctor in six years. I know that I am one medical disaster from bankruptcy.

I don't wish disaster on Wall Street, but the American Middle Class has been scared for the last decade. It's very difficult to hear the top executives or Jim Cramer talk about being scared when so many of us have been in trouble for so long.

2. Wasn't it Bush and McCain who did that whole "Suspend the campaigns! It's Financial DOOMM!" routine?
But it's Obama who is scaring people. Typical media.

5. Colbert *did* bring up an important fact: That the stock market was up before even though the
economy was *not* healthy.

7. Ok so Obama sees the economic data
and knows its going to take 2 years to recover from this mess if everything goes right.

If he goes out and becomes a cheerleader for spending money he's no different than Bush encouraging people to spend money they don't have which if we believe the pundits is what caused this mess to begin with

8. He meant scaring them by talk of cracking down on tax evasion and letting the upper class tax cuts
expire.

9. Oh those people
the people that actually caused the mess...they should be happy Obama is preventing another French Revolution and keep their traps shut for a while. This isn't the 80s or 90s...lifestyle of the rich and famous doesn't make people want to dream it makes them want to grab their pitch fork and torch.

10. Why don't all these "experts" on cable news draw up a plan for the economy
and stop expecting Obama to walk on water in his firs 100 days?

13. They are still getting paid
Therefore they don't care one way or another. They are just doing what their corporate masters instruct.

16. Obama isn't scaring people as much as M$M is
All we hear are all these "pundits" who know nothing about economics bloviating about how Obama's plans won't work -- in full corporate CYA mode.

But Cramer didn't scare me last night -- I was too busy being soothed by the cute kittens and puppies Colbert had on behind him.

"the fundamentals of the economy are strong?"

Silly me, I appreciate knowing what is really happening.
