I was seething with anger after reading this bullshit. This district has been fucking crimson for years, and then Kirsten Gillibrand manages to take down John 'Wife Beating Scumbag' Sweeney through plain toughness, fundraising, and the fact that Sweeney is a wife-beating scumbag. Then she manages to hold off Sandy Treadwell in 2008, another Repuke dirtbag of the 'sleazy millionaire' variety. It'll be very tough for Dems to hold onto a seat that has historically been red, but somehow the Republicans winning it would be some sort of huge victory for them. OH MY GOD! The Repulicans managed to take back a seat in an incredibly red district! It must mean that the dems are SCREWN!
I'm so fucking done with the media. Seriously. Bunch of liars wouldn't know reporting if it bit them in the ass.

Jim Tedisco is a well known figure here for years in an already conservative district , while Scott Murphy is completely unknown. It's amazing that the poll numbers have tighened a litle, but I feel like Tedisco will probably win and the MSM breathers will be all agast "OMG, this PROVE everything we have been trying to say!" And the worst part is, Tedisco is trying to ride Obama's coattails a little. He tried not to have a position on the stimulus until he had to do it as a hail mary pass, but I still see his stupid commercial where he's quoting Barack Obama saying that we're not republicans or Democrats, we're Americans, yadayada, all the time.
