"Here's another blog-only entry...a Crowetoons special edition that won't appear in the Press-Register. It's just me spoutin' off.

Hmmm...didn't hear about any tea parties when the Bush administration squandered a hefty budget surplus, ran up record deficits, ignored terrorist red flags leading up to 9/11, ignited an unnecessary war, wasted thousands of lives and the good will of the international community...all while playing Twister on the Constitution.

After eight years of dysfunction, arrogance and political poison, a new president has won a decisive election. He has been handed an enormous pile of problems to sort though...the biggest mess a new president has inherited since Lincoln.

So far, the only drink the "We Hope You Fail" party offers is sour grape Kool-Aid.

That tea bag is big enough to hold all the Republicans' great new ideas, but not big enough to hide their hypocrisy."
