Rate President Bush.

He's doing a fine job on the war on terrorism. I think he gets an F on domestic policy. I think the tax cut is irresponsible. His welfare proposal takes power away from the states and centralizes it in the federal government, as does his education bill. And he's done nothing on health care. So I find no redeeming social value in the president's domestic agenda.

Because Dean's WHOLE quote was hardly complimentary and Dean didn't make his comments a republican fundraiser, only to turn around two years later and claim to be a democrat because he wanted to run for president.

That's what was going on at the time of those statements. Kerry was taking it to Bush on Tora Bora and al qaeda so of course Dean had to say the opposite. During that same time, he also said our Democrats shouldn't criticize the President in a time of war. He's a total fraud.

In Bosnia and Kosovo. Supported gays in the military, as much as don't ask, don't tell is a disaster. Probably implemented numerous Democratic policies in the military including increasing women's role in the military. I'm sure a thorough review of Clark's record would show consistent support for Democratic positions over the years.

I'm an ardent Clark supporter but I'm just as tired of these mindless, out-of-context quote-slinging posts against Dean as I am those against Clark. And if someone uses the lame "well, they did it" excuse again, they're grounded.

You'd think a few folks would start developing some sense of shame after months of this crap -- behaving like the worst of our enemy isn't justified against ANY Democratic candidate at ANY time no matter how much you really, really, really like your candidate.
