I'll take Arlen Specter over Ben Nelson anyday and twice on Sunday.

1. I'd prefer they both be sent packing

and replaced with real Democrats along the lines of Russ Feingold, Sherrod Brown, Dick Durbin, or Jack Reed (to name just a few of the non-corporate Dems).

They want to get rid of all their moderates and just be a happy, purist party. A purist party is a minority party, by definition. I'll take anyone who puts a D in front of their name and votes with us over half the time. At least they give us control of Congress.
