that will reduce the deficits they're so concerned about, don't you think? Hannity,Rush and Fox will frame it as "anti-business" and costing American jobs.

Once again, people who barely have a pot to piss in will be mobilized for the benefit of their exploiters.

1. How come the DOW hasn't crashed yet?
It has actually gone UP since Obama's speech.

I thought the Republicans claimed that making corporations pay their taxes would destroy Wall Street?

3. I truly think it will be what I said in my OP.
Although it will be very hard to put a decent "BELIEVABLE" spin on it. It must become tiresome to constantly have to appeal to the most ingnorant and uninformed in the country.

4. The status quo is "anti-America"
We have people and corporations basically cheating the United States of America out of money they owe. Whether it's out and out fraud by sending money overseas to avoid paying income tax on it, or using loopholes to outsource jobs and operations to avoid paying taxes, it's still anti-American.

What are they, terrorists or something? Taxes pay for protecting our country. They pay our military.

Why, avoiding taxes is the ultimate disgrace! They deprive our military of funds to keep terrorists from attacking us again!! What traitors!!!

Spin that, Faux. :eyes:

5. John Kerry said it best - "Benedict Arnold CEOs"
And boy are they ever. Decimating American cities and towns and eroding the standard of living of Americans while they exploit the downtrodden in other countries.

Personally, I have always felt all these decisions were made for the sole reason of enriching the uber executive corporate class. To steal lots of money, you have to have lots of money to steal. They don't want the government getting any of it in taxes and they and don't want Americans getting any in the form of decent wages and they don't want to have to pay attention to any responsible environmental policies or anything like that. The corporate executive class became completely immoral/amoral and unpatriotic after initially being enabled by the Republicans under Reagan.

6. It's just another exercise in the corrupt leading the blind.
IMO only residents of D.C. have the inherent right to "teabag."
