Why do we almost never see Feingold as a spokesperson for the Dems?

Why do we almost never see Feingold as a spokesperson for the Dems?
I really like him and I contribute to his Progressive Patriots Fund as opposed to the DCC guys. Why am I not seeing more of him? Too "lefty" for the MSM and the media mavens in the party?

I sure as hell would love to see him more than Reid or Pelosi!
