VA-Gov: PPP Poll Shows McAuliffe Surging in Dem Primary
Public Policy Polling (PDF) (5/1-3, likely voters, late March in parens):

Terry McAuliffe (D): 30 (18)
Brian Moran (D): 20 (22)
Creigh Deeds (D): 14 (15)
Undecided: 36 (45)
(MoE: ± 4.1%)
This is a big jump for T-Mac from the last PPP poll, which actually had him trailing Moran. But this is now the second survey in a row (SUSA's was the first) to show McAuliffe with a sizable lead. Still, there are a ton of undecideds and just a month left to go in the race - a lot can happen.

2. That is too bad. I saw a debate last night with the 3 of them and liked Deeds the best.
Too bad I live in CT. We have our own issues.

3. With that large a percentage of Undecided voters, it's still pretty much a toss-up.

4. God help us. That guy fucks up everything he touches
Just our luck, he'll run a good primary campaign, win the nomination and then make a fool out of himself in the real election.

8. Not to mention giving the VAGOP its dream opportunity --- to run
against the Clintons, again.

VA helped Obama win in 2008... WHY are we being punished by the party bigwigs with this buffoon of a candidate???

7. I thought my state had wised up after going blue in 2008.
How is the WORLD can that IDIOT be an actual contender??

He must have some MAJOR dirt on the party bigwigs to be getting this kind of support since he CLEARLY is a nutjob and would be a DISASTROUS candidate.
