President Obama Remains Highly Popular While American Optimism Keeps Growing
Edited on Fri May-08-09 09:13 AM by ClarkUSA
A new McClatchy/Ipsos poll finds the public mood "appears to be lightening," with 55% of Americans saying they think the country is moving in the right direction and only 38% saying it's on the wrong track.

Just a month ago, the right track/wrong track margin was 45% to 48%.

In addition, President Obama remains highly popular, with 65% of Americans approving of how he's handling his job and 31% disapproving.

2. It's nice to see that a big majority of Americans approve of what Pres. Obama has done so far.

8. I spoke w/one today at a business meeting. Seemed like a nice guy until he started bashing Obama.

Apparently, the bad economy is all Pres. Obama's fault. I told him to turn off Fox and start watching MSNBC. I also informed
him that his granddaughter won't lose her UI when she enrolls at Duke in the fall because of Pres. Obama. No gratitude from
the moron, though.
