5. I would just love to hear the media's reasoning on this sort of schedule.
I wish that some brave Democrat would get on each one of those shows with the data and ask pointed questions about the stacking of the shows with GOP talking heads, no matter which party is running the country - and ask and ask and ask until there is some sort of answer for the public to digest.

7. The Sunday morning shows have become irrelevant.
Edited on Sat May-09-09 06:33 AM by mwb970
I haven't watched any of these shows in months. It's nothing but a weekly suckup to republicans and their failed policies. The Fox "News" cancer is spreading through the entire media now. What's amazing to me is that it isn't working this time. At all. The public continues to admire and respect Obama. The public continues to dislike republicans and to hold them in contempt.

The media could put republican spokesliars on 24/7 and I don't think it would change anyone's mind at this point. (Of course, if they did, the screams of "liberal bias" from Bizarro World would be deafening.)

8. Petraeus works for Obama now
and there is a reason (probably found in the MTP line-up) he is sent out all over the place, the way the "flu trio" of Napolitano, Sebelius, and the CDC guy were last week.

11. I trust Petraeus about 2 inches further than I can throw him
and he's been turned into Patton or whatever strictly based off of being the only guy that Bush could sell "The Surge" to. Most of out military guys were smart enough to know you can't create freedom by putting those you "save" at the business end of a M16 and that you can't forge a free nation from a bunch of petty warlords with divergent interests and beliefs.

Maybe the guy is just a toady and will also be Obama's toady but I find it difficult to believe you'd side-step reason to that degree without believing it. That sounds more like the ultimate soldier rather than great general.

15. That's why I don't watch those shows. Too right wing.
I have skipped most of those sunday shows for a long time now because they were always too heavily slanted to the right.

17. Because he knows something we don't know...
like when the next attack will happen!

He talks about it all the time--so he must know!

Just saying!
