1. Honestly, why do so many men choose to go by that name when...

..."Dicks" are usually Richards, and could go by Richard, Rich or Rick???

5. Well, since I live with a "Dick" it seems he had no choice when he was a baby

and the name just stayed. Back then, a million years ago, people did not attribute the name to male anatomy. Sometimes I laugh about his name, but most of the time, I find it juvenile when people snicker over it.

...a different version of their name when they go to high school or college. I did, because the nickname was babyish.

or Dickmeister, both of which he either stares blankly at me or calls me by my first name which shuts me up for a month.

4. LOL that reminds me of a neighbor we used to have. He was indeed a dick head, but we had small

children. The guys name was Dave. To this day when we(including the grown children now) refer to some one that way it's they are a "Dave-head".

To give him the distinction he deserves, since he's been bragging about it so much.
