$2,500 off a $12,000 a year policy is nothing to get all excited about. It still puts healthcare out of reach of the majority of the uninsured. This is like Massachusetts Part Deux and that has not worked.

We really need to have President Obama answer the tough questions about his announcement.

I worry about pension plans and people with 401k's who are invested in insurance companies. I'm a pensioner myself. But I'm for single payer and this move by the corporations sounds like a plan for foot dragging on their part.

doctors, pharma, ins vowed to curtail spening. You can't expect them to tell you exactly how they are going to do that; they are private entities.

11. Pretty vague - disappointing. He mentioned everyone at the table

but did not mention single payer advocates at all. That doesn't mean they would be excluded or included. Just not mentioned.. I was hoping for more I guess. Did anyone notice this morning on Washington Journal - they were covering questions and conversation about the upcoming weeks business in the senate and congress - but every call from listeners was regarding health insurance. I was watching it between 10 and 11 CST.
