even if he wasn't laughing on the outside, he was cracking up on the inside. If you watch the CSPAN video, after Wanda's gig, you'll see Obama and her talking. His body language was clear. He enjoyed the show. But because Of White House protocol, and all that bullshit, they HAVE to say "they didn't think it was funny" or whatever.

1. She did exactly what was expected! You don't hire Wanda
and expect some lame comedy routine!

2. Hell, Obama was worse than she was, anyway...
The Boehner "person of color" and Cheney "How to shoot friends" jokes were WAY stronger than anything Sykes said...especially because Sykes is a comedienne and Obama is the President.

7. I'm hard to shock, and I was a little uncomfortable.
Yeah, it was funny...but it was a little strong, IMO, coming from a sitting Prez.

Nothing he said was worse that Wanda's Palin joke. That was the only one where I thought she went a lil too far.

12. The Boehner joke and the Cheney joke were both a little over the top.
Not for a comedian, but for a sitting President.

19. Obama made Cheney hunting jokes all during his campaign on late night.
The Boehner joke was just too damn funny...who cares if it offends someone?

6. It's the comic roaster's job to go over the top, and Sykes did just that . . .
And yes, there were a lot of low blows. Tough shit. After Bush pretended to look under the table for WMDs (and the justification for a ware that has killed tens of thousands), all bets were off forever.

What I don't think was over the top were the Limbaugh references. Limbaugh is such an odious piece of shit, my imagination fails when I try to think of anything you could say about him that would be too cruel.

And yes, it's the White House's job to disavow the more outrageous statements. My one caveat here is that Obama is winning lots of points for being more gracious than the 'Lican trogs, and this may cost him a bit.

10. No one will ever be able to outdo Rush in the outrageous remarks department
There is no one more depraved than he is when it comes to trashing anyone and everyone. Wanda Sykes would have to work for the rest of her life saying filth about people to even start being as bad as he is.

16. What gets me is that the RW seems to be complaining about the oxycontin joke...
I thought that was funny as sh*t. And they don't seem to be complaining about hoping Rush's kidneys fail. I thought the kidney fail joke was questionable, and they could rightly compain about that one. But no, they are saying that Wanda made fun of 3,000 people dying on 9-11 re: the 20th hijacker, and that she was making fun of a person who had a problem and was recovering. After Bush's WMD video, I don't see how they can think there was nothing wrong with that, but the oxy joke was over the top. Not to mention the whack job Rush did on Michael J Fox. Damn hypocrites.

21. There was nothing wrong with the jokes...
These people are full of it they seem to think that anytime something relates to 911 you can't say anything as if you are attacking the people who lost their lives. THey know damn well she wasn't talking about the dead.

Limbaugh is not recovering from a damn thing that fat bastard probably still uses oxycontin his big ass needs to be serving time just like the people who are serving time just for having a few joints.I don't think the kidney joke was questionable either especially with the policies that Limbaugh endorses that would cause death to many. Don't get me started I had to cut myself off...

20. We know...
THere is a lot of fake outrage, where was the outrage when Bush did his little skit about not finding WMD's and I believe cheney was up there last year with his cowboy hat on telling Keith Olbermann to put something where the sun doesn't shine..These people are really full of shit..
