Some accurately say that President Obama released four memos detailing some of the abuses sponsored by Bush officials, therefore the release of photographs depicting these abuses is unnecessary, since these memos tell us everything we need to know about the extent and nature of the abuses committed during Bush's dark 8 years.
Obama, we are told, has no problem releasing communication in the form of words in regard to torture, rather than graphic pictures that may endanger our troops.
But did we forget so quickly that,
as reported yesterday, the administration threatened the UK not to release
seven paragraphs which detail what was done to detainee Binyam Mohamed while in our custody?
As seen above, photographs are not the only evidence being hidden from us.
Remember, the allegations by Mohamed that his penis was sliced open and stuffed with a hot liquid will not be deemed credible until this information is released, as is evident by the inexplicable secrecy by our government.
