1. It looks like California is becoming a banana republic. |
|
I thought it was one of the more progressive states. How utterly disappointing. I hope I do not run into a right wing bigot today, for their sake.

2. Was it actually the ban that was upheld, or was it the intuitive process that was upheld? |
|
If the latter, we get another intuitive drive funded to make gay marriages legally recognized. It ain't over.

10. Prop 8 will be overturned in 2010 or 2012 |
|
After that, demographics will make it pointless for gay marriage opponents to keep fighting it.

3. That was the first time I've ever clicked on a twitter link. |
|
Twitter is some inane bullshit. Nice comment by Meghan McCain tho. But seriously WTF is Twitter for?

Some use it to broadcast stupid random daily "status updates." Others use it to toss out two-sentence idiotic rants about this or that. Others use it to share relevant bits of news and information among a network of political junkies. ...at least that's what I do. ...not to say it's not inane bullshit. :)

5. Yeah, let's keep those homosexuals in their place as |
|
second class citizen/taxpayers.
California could solve the budget crisis by bringing back slavery and forcing all public employees to serve as unpaid slaves, the majority of voters could approve it, and the court would uphold it.
What is wrong with that court? Haven't they ever heard of equality for all?
