administration to argue why the new admin. is doing everything the wrong way? Now, if you turn to any cable news show, you're just as likely to see someone from the last admin. as you are to see someone from THIS one.

4. Strange but true, and suggesting a couple different things at work:
First, that the MSM was and remains more generous to (or under the control of) the Bush administration.

Also, that there are fewer from the Clinton administration who felt strongly compelled to come out against Bush.

I'm sure there are other mechanisms at work.

I think they're scared, more scared than Dems were, of losing what's left of their shrinking base.

6. Carville and Begala are the nearest comparison I can come up with
but they didn't surface on CNN's Crossfire until late February 2002.

Otherwise, I got nuthin'.

9. That's right...
they were on Crossfire-a show set up for arguing. It was hard to understand what they were saying half the time. :hi:

14. on the contrary. At one point conservatives were told not to appear on Crossfire
because Carville/Begala were kicking their asses.

12. That's because there was nuthin'
Consider this. After 9/11 did you ever hear from anyone on the MSM about the proposal by Al Gore that we strengthen airline cabin doors? He made this proposal back in the late 1990s. His suggestions were met by derision by Reich Wing talking heads, especially Rush Limbaugh. It was going to cost the amazing sum of $300 per aircraft. Point is Gore is characterized by the MSM as being some sort of a tree hugger nut case yet his modest proposal would have prevented 9/11. Yet not one word about it by the MSM.

7. I thought you...
couldn't speak out against Bush or you would be accused of not supporting the troops, just what I heard. I had a TA last year for my Con law class who stated she was so glad he was leaving office because too many educators were censored under his administration.

13. the media was bowing to the Repukes by allowing them to constantly harp
that "we lefties" were just sore losers and that we needed to "get over it" and also, (Coleman reference) quit trying to have the court system install a candidate instead of having the will of the people vote in who they wanted ...

after 9/11, the media went along with what you said in your post ...

11. George Stephanopoulos comes to mind.
Robert Reich made many appearances on news shows. Whether either argued why the new admin. is doing everything the wrong way, I don't know.
