FReeper Jeff Head writes (scribbles?) our President on health care reform.

Link follows. It's all like this, though; don't get your hopes up. Just an excerpt, noting errors. Could have quoted verbatim from any of it:

". . . I hereby inform you that I, Jeff Head, am ardently against the Democratic and Obama led (sic) Health Care (sic) reform. I have read the Democrtic (sic) House Plan (sic)and I find it a monstrosity that will seriously erode overall health care in this nation, (sic) and will deal a serious blow to free enterprise in the health care arena, and thereby hurt the free market. I categorically reject any government plan, including Cap & Trade that threatens the American economy and fundamental Republican principle (sic) as these bills do.

I am not afrai (sic) to stand up to them, it is my right by birth and heritage and citizenshipo (sic) in these United States (Yep, ol' Jeff is a birther).

Obama-led is used as a compound adjective, thus the two words need to be hyphenated.

With all due respect, a letter of this ilk needs to be free of misspellings, typos, grammatical errors, etc., to be taken seriously. This letter doesn’t fit the bill. It’s a good idea, but so is a spellchecker. Unfortunately, your letter is being subjected to abuse on DU for these reasons.
Please continue with your efforts!

DU will abuse such a letter no matter what. The people receiving the letter, and the other Americans writing similar letters, with all of their imprefections will understand full well what is meant.

I refuse to not write, or to hold off, until everything is "perfect" or just so.

My reps know me, and they will understand the gravity of this situation and respond accordingly.

It is not about looking perfect to these people, to those violating their trust and oath, or to the press. They are already fixed in their course. It is about rallying others to act...and they will act upon what they feel in their hearts, much more than upon that which is clinically and perfectly "correct".

Having said that, as I find errors of this sort, I will certainly correct them on my site where the letter stands.

"I hereby inform you" is a phrase generally reserved for official letters, not for statements of opinion.

"I hereby inform you that I think you're a doo-doo head." See? Sounds odd.
