I'll be tabling for Organizing for America this weekend and beyond

Just got back from an organizing event for Organizing for America here in Madison and met with a couple folks who will be tabling for Organizing for America. Many folks (like myself) are for Single Payer, but most understood how the Public Option is perhaps a needed incremental step toward that goal.

The Obama cutout (as pictured below) from 2007-2008 Obama tabling events will be out there. Again! Ready! Smiling!

I'm planning on having a clipboard for the Birther crowd where they can sign up to have their Medicare/Medicaid/Vet benefits taken away if they start harping about "socialist" "government-run" health care programs. And yes, I will be videotaping them as they hem and haw about their usual nonsense.

Put it this way. I am sick of it. I want to document these Birther asshats as an epilogue of the election as part of an upcoming documentary I am finishing up. This stuff is as fiercely amusing as it is scary.

As Saturday gets closer, I will post whatever I will be distributing here for others to use if they want.

Let's take this to the streets and show how much we care. Take this puppy to the streets if you can! I fully plan on having photos, video and a report as I had during the election cycle from the Madison Farmers Market. I've done my summer vacation and am now fully ready to take on those against what we need in this country... affordable, universal health care.
