Pick a Senator!
Who do you think most represents you in the United States Senate?

My favorite was Mark Dayton, and now it is Al Franken.

Also add to this Al Franken. John Kerry is my #1 favorite, though (which I also doubt would surprise anyone ).

All of you in MA are SO lucky to have such incredible representation, both in the Senate and the House! This Arizonan is jealous. :p

8. Carl Levin is on my list.
Not very show-y but time after time he votes o our side. A tireless and fearless Dem. I am proud he's my Senator.

Don't ge tme wrong, I love many of them, Boxer, Feingold, Franken, etc. No longer with us but Paul Wellstone will always have a special place in my heart.

12. I said Ted Kennedy, but excepting him, until we get health ins reform, I hate them all.

Not really, but I'm really pissed off today because of all the garbage from the cable tabloids.

I actually watched NBC Nightly News last night and learned more in 30 minutes than in months of watching the 24-hour bullshit cycle of cable news tabloid TV. They did a great 2-3 min segment on public option with bullet points showing what it would ACTUALLY mean. It was simple and concise enough that even stupid Republicans could understand it.

So the question is . . . if 30 minute newscast can do it, why can't a 24-hour cable tabloid do it? Okay, nevermind, this is about the Senate. :spank:

Follwed by Feingold & Kennedy.

Franken, not so much.

I knew Franken was bad on health care but at an appearance in Duluth a couple weeks ago he indicated he's willing to drop the public option and go with that nutty coop idea (he's also not very receptive to listening to anyone who disagrees with him on this). He is ranked #43 when it comes to donations from the insurance industry (per the Star Tribune August 2 - I read that in the print edition, don't have the link handy) and while that is not Max Baucus territtory it's bad enough. It makes me wonder why I kept getting calls for donations to help pay the recount expenses. Though the last time I called I suggested they contact United Health Group for more money as that appears to be who he is representing when it comes to "reform".

I wish my 2 Senators did, although I voted for both of them, they both disappoint me, Warner and Webb.

16. Neither of mine, unfortunately.
Both claim to be "Democrats", but they rarely act like it anymore. I have no plans to move to Vermont, but between Bernie Sanders and Howard Dean, I might "adopt" the state.
