2. I Wanted To Post My Message To The Senator, But

I screwed that up. I congratulated him on receiving the Presidential Medal Of Freedom, and gave him my condolences on the loss of his sister Eunice. also, I thanked him for personally signing his book ("Splash") for my class. I also told him they loved the book and they loved him.




Also, my class sent him get well cards when they heard he was ill, and unexpectedly, he sent this to us (It's not a fake):

7th grade, Sister Mary Frances had us write letters to JFK in support of his run for president. He sent each of us a signed "thank you" letter on his official stationary. I can picture it now and wish I knew what happened to that letter.

I have this feeling (that I hope is wrong) that the Senator has taken a turn for the worse, and I hope a decent health care bill gets passed in his lifetime. I wish it were possible for Senator Kennedy to hold a town hall meeting.
