Gallup: Presidential approval at 53%. The Economist poll: 49%

Gallup tracking poll is the one released today and the Economist poll was conducted Aug. 9 to Aug. 11 among adults.

If we had the Fairness Doctrine, or any other sort of media reform, the attempts to smear the President would have been neutralized.
