I'm beginning to think that all the haters need preemptive mental health evaluations, for national security reasons.

I hate myself for thinking like this.

But people who say things like, I'd buy a tag to hunt Obama, or any other mention of violence against the president, might warrant a 72-hour hold, good old 5150, during which a person could be fully scrutinized by mental health professionals to determine if the person in question is a danger to themselves or others.

The lunatic violent fringe is becoming empowered, and it scares the hell out of me.

These motherfuckers are openly joking about LYNCHING. This can NOT be tolerated.
During the Bush years, something as innocuous as disagreeing with Dubya granted people the title of "un-American", "terrorist" and worse (arrests, no-flying lists, etc).

As soon as the first African American president was elected, the GOP and their RACIST base started amping the violent, murderous, and vicious rhetoric to levels that are NOT ACCEPTABLE in any civilized society.
