I am so excited, I am doing cartwheels!
I just saw news item saying Top Executives at some large corporations could
get 90% paycut! These CEO types in large outfits are the modern day Robber Barons.
They are paid way way way above what they are worth. In many cases they are paid
bonuses even when their company lost money! Congratulations are in order for the
president, secretary of Treasury and whoever is behind this move. It is about time.
I hope it includes every mega health insurer such as United Care, and every outfit
who received TARP dollars from tax payers.

The only companies who should be given help are those with earnings under $5 million
and sales under $50 million. They are the ones who create most NEW jobs. See my OP below.

1. Are they still receiving bonuses or incentives?
Many executives have super low salaries and receive much of their compensation in the form of bonuses and other incentives not recorded as "salary"

2. I'll do cartwheels when I see that money is being re-invested or hiring more persons or
something other than horded for a later date.

But it is a step.

5. That money saved by slashing exorbitant CEO compensations
has to go somewhere. It is like rain water...it will find its way to the lowest level.

The corporation can't just burn that money saved. They will either have to hire more
people, pay a few extra pennies to the millions of stockholders or expand the business.

... and gave to the poor...

That settles it. Now we know what he should go as for Halloween...

(lol, cause that wouldn't make the wingnuts mad would it? The ones who have apparently decided being Robin Hood is a BAD thing)
