1. Eugh. More of the old old story..
There is no Republican so right wing that the party can't try to replace them with someone even more right wing.

Any chance of the Dem winning this one?

4. Now those Democrats who were going to vote for Scozzafava
need to vote for Owens.

This lady was forced out. Who the hell would quit now, with a few days to go? This is what happens to all Repukes who aren't Right Wing Nuts

5. The very sad part about this
is that Sarah, in her usual narcissistic way, will take full credit for the moderate dropping out of the race. She is well on her way to dividing the Republican party nationally the way she did here in Alaska from 2006 to 2008. I suppose that's a good thing, but I want her stopped NOW.

6. Why is that a sad thing?
I am thrilled that Sarah is dividing the GOP.

7. I agree there are good things about it
overall, but anything that makes Sarah feel more powerful makes me feel nauseous. It's a personal thing with me.

9. Our hope was that after she quit she would just crawl back in her hole
and disappear. No such luck.
