3. Not necessarily. If Owens wins and Maine (as well as WA) deliver,
it will be a rather mixed bag... so go, Owens, go, Maine, and go, WA!

Got lots of work to do around the house - let their ratings suffer.

8. It's always unwatchable ...

That is the first rule of cable news.

Repeat: It is always unwatchable.

I don't even remember the last time I purposely sat and watched a cable news program. I get enough of what has been said and done on these sorry excuses for entertainment from watching snippets on programs like The Daily Show and from reading the newspaper.

And here ...

10. It doesn't bother me
They can talk until they are blue in the face, all that matters from here on out is what Obama's admin does in terms of campaign promises and especially HEALTH CARE. If health care doesn't get past this year, than I'm afraid of what might happen in 2010. Because there is no reason health care shouldn't get passed this year.

13. I'll ignore FAUX, which I always do, but Dems have nothing to be ashamed of...
Governors races are guided by state not national issues. They go back and forth. Dems had VA and NJ for 8 years. It is cyclical. But Dems won a GOP seat in US congress and one they have held for 150 years or something. I think that is more significant.

17. Nothing to be afraid of. Plenty of Dem talking heads are bringing up our NY-23 victory.
Edited on Wed Nov-04-09 08:36 AM by ClarkUSA
And make no mistake, NY-23 is a huge victory, considering all the resources the RNC and the Palin/Beck axis put into it.

We all need to go and start volunteering at our Democratic Party offices. 2010 is around the corner and helping hands
and active brainpower will help prep for next year's election.

This is a wake-up call. We cannot sit back for the next year and do nothing on the ground until the last minute.

20. Not good to put your head in the sand...
If we don't learn from this, we'll be in even more trouble next year.

Many Obama voters who worked their butts off for him stayed home ~ it's important for the WH to get that and address it. Dem voters have to vote in every election, not just the star-studded ones.
