1. My wife hates baseball, but she was cheering for the Yankees last night
She didnt want a game 7 that would have preempted her favorite TV show, Fringe.

3. Keith Olbermann, Sean Hannity Friendly At Yankees Game
Olbermann wrote about the game on his MLBlog, where he said of Hannity, "And lastly, a reminder that baseball does erase boundaries. The guy I'm taking a photo of, who's taking a photo of me - we get along perfectly at the ballpark - less so during our day jobs."

Maybe we need more sports & less politics? We need something to bridge the gap.

7. NewLIfeArea That is so true!
They do like Obama! And for some reason the Yankees do better when a Democrat is President: "Want more Yankee Octobers? Pull for Barack Obama in November http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/2008/10/31/2008-10-31_want_more_yankee_octobers_pull_for_barac.html#ixzz0W173LIRN

I thought the pictures of Michelle & Jill with Derek Jeter were so cute. I also saw some great pictures of Joe & Jill Biden with Derek Jeter and the Bidens are Philly fans. I can't wait till the Yankees go to the White House! And I was so happy for Hideki becoming the 1st Japanese-Born Winner of the World Series MVP award. He deserved it! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/05/hideki-matsui-world-serie_n_346447.html&cp

Not only that, but Joe Girardi helped an injured motorist on his way from the game last night http://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/yankees/girardi-helps-injured-motorist-hours-after-winning-title-1.1569415

After 9 years, I am in 27th Heaven!

6. Yankees fan here, since 1964
Sadly I'm also a NY Jets fan so I guess you take the good with the bad as they say. I've seen them win 7 World Championships-so far....
