Why do people keep worrying aboout the REPUBLICANS?
Almost everything is still 'what would the Republicans think?' What would the Republicans say.

I'm fairly sure that if there wasn't a Republican party we would NOT be still in Afghanistan, Iraq.

We would be pushing for a single payer healthcare system.

We would be steamrolling green policies through.

We would not be tolerating Wall street and their bonus happy executives.

It's as though Democrats somehow need some guidance from: What would McCain say? What would Cheney say? What would Limpballs say? What would the media say?

Why are we unable as a party to go out on our own and push forward our own policies which are in fact supported by most real American people. we have the White House and Congress.

Why?

1. Democrats in congress
use the Republicans as an excuse for their own half-hearted commitment to progressive principles. It's like a magician using a distraction. "It's the Republicans fault!" they cry, so we don't see the corporate hand slipping money into their pockets.

3. Because the media gives those who are not so informed but
have a lot of sway information that are lies and make the Republicans seem more potent then they would be....if the "liberul" media didn't support them as much.

Why do you think these headlines convey?

And before that, it was the propaganda about the Teabaggers,
and before that, it was the Town Haller howlers...
and it goes on and on.

Republicans see change coming after Tuesday election results

Election results hearten Republicans, deal blow to Obama
The 2009 election results in two governor's races are a warning to moderate Democrats worried about 2010 reelection. They may be more cautious in voting for Obama's agenda.

and after that, it will be something else.

When you have a mainstream media batting against you each and everyday,
massaging public opinion, and heralding exaggerations and falsehoods
as though they are true,
it ain't just about "Insisting"....

It's about a democracy that is not working right,
because the point of having a free press is moot,
cause they are bought and paid for by the corporation
who owns them.

In otherwords, they got a great big microphone,
and acting like it isn't so doesn't help us.

7. Why?
Actually that's not the Democrats saying that..
it's the media driving that..
Why?
Because the United Stated Media is heavily controlled by intelligence agencies...
Which are heavily populated by individuals hired by the previous Republican administration.
For instance the Director of the FBI, is a Bush appointee whose term will not expire untill 8/2/11.
Do I need to go on?
Or are you beginning to see the picture?
