The pugs are right. There IS a bipartisan position on HCR.
We talk about the fantasy of picking up Olympia Snowe's vote as bipartisanship.

Yet it is accepted right off the top that 30ish Dems will vote with the pugs in the house and that 8 or 9 Dems will vote with the pugs on final passage in the senate and that all bills will be neutered somehow to even reach that outcome.

The bipartisan position on healthcare is to kill it.

And this is the altar upon which we are supposed to worship?

1. This is the reality
that we have to work within to gain any progress at all.

The people want to go to the doctor. They already have an altar if they want to worship at one.
