2. Thanks! I was looking for this. Shuler makes me puke on an everyday basis.
Glad I am not liberal and from that NC district.

4. Ahhh...You've listed the double dealers!!! You're especially the first ones to go.
I'm surprised a Floridian or Texan didn't make the list. Meh,but LA, UT, TN came through...I'm surprised by the PA people....guns and religion right?!

7. Almost all from the part of the country where supporting a woman's right to choose....
Edited on Sun Nov-08-09 12:37 AM by Clio the Leo
... would be a death sentence to someone's political career.

I know because I live here. And I have people ask me on a far too regular basis how I can support Barack Obama since he is "Pro-abortion." It's the ONLY issue that matters to them. He could walk up and down the street handing out cash and they wouldn't take it because he's a "baby killer." I want to point out to them how many men and women were executed on death row while Bush was the Governor of Texas, but that irony is lost on them.

It's the sad reality of what we (in the Democratic party) are up against. And in this part of the world Blue Dogs ARE the progressives.

It's either them, or more scary fat, pasty bubba GOP white men in their seats unfortunately. ...... well, or more women like Ms. Foxx.

8. They are going to have another chance to make it right....
as there will be the final bill for them to vote on.
I think these folks need a wake up call,
and Democratic voters need to point them to the correct page in history....
for when the time comes for them to make that vote!

9. Artur Davis thinks he can pander to white racists and fundies in Alabama
He's in a solid blue district, but he's running for governor and he probably thinks the above votes will inoculate him from attacks from teabaggers/racists/Freepers/Dittoheads/birthers. He will soon find out that he is wrong.

Davis is also black, in a state where Obama got 10%, yes 10%, of the white vote.

Good luck with that, Artur.

10. Artur Davis is running for Alabama governor
Some supporters at his Facebook page are saying that he was holding out for something better than the public option, that this was a purity vote. Well, not hardly. Blue Cross Blue Shield owns the Alabama health care market. And voting for the anti-woman Stupak amendment and then against the full bill reveals the truth. Holding out for something better would have meant a No vote on Stupak.

Very disappointed with Rep. Davis tonight.
