GOP Rep Cao, back in March: "I Might Be A Closet Democrat"
Make it so, sir.

_____________________

Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao, a Republican in a deeply Democratic Louisiana district, was welcomed on Tuesday night into the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.

Addressing the group at a ceremony in the Capitol Visitors Center, Cao did a little bipartisan outreach.

"Don't tell the Republicans, but I might be a closet Democrat," said Cao to a round of laughter.

He then added that party shouldn't define a member of Congress and that "we are basically servants of the citizens of the United States."

2. I hope the Dems don't run anyone against him - it will teach other Republicans
who come from Democratic districts the most painful lesson of their life.

A congressman would give anything to be able to avoid a contested election.

If they were to announce it now Boehner would have no power over them at all.

3. Teabaggers and Freeps are pushing to run a 'Conservative' against him in the primary.
So he might be at risk if he doesn't switch.

Come on aboard, sir.

4. But remember, he bucked his own party to vote against Dennis Kucinich.
So conversely, we hate him.

13. Club for Growth
is the dumbest name for a group I've ever heard.

It reminds me of the Hair Club for Men.

15. lol... I agree.
I kept getting the two mixed up years ago, too. I am pretty sure we're not the only ones who've mocked their stupid name. :)

14. I'm pretty sure that a deal was made
He'll be walking across the aisle within a week. There is no way he'll survive on the other side.

That being said there will be some serious people pissed off who were planning a GE campaign against him.
