OK... Enough Of This Horse Shit, Here's What Kerry Has to Do !!!
And I think he kind of did it today.

Since the media-whores are cherry picking\censoring what the public gets to hear and see from the Kerry Campaign, he has to come out with a full-on accusation of Bush's ineptitude, mis-handling, lying, secretiveness, et.al... that is both true, and controversial, EVERY TIME HE GIVES A SPEECH.

He's been trying with important issues, but it just gets passed on (WRONGLY) as inside baseball, or too issue oriented. Time to bring out bigger ammo.

CNN cut off the speech (the second time) right when Kerry was going through the Tora Bora story and accusing Bush of letting Bin Laden get away. Most voters probably haven't heard that before because of these media putzes. But... If Kerry puts in some absolute red-meat accusations that are true (we have hundreds, ya know), and backs them up to links on his site, or hands the stuff out in press kits, the press will almost have to cover it.

Let's use this, "If it bleeds, it leads!" mentality to our advantage! If he can craft the right tone, while blazing away at Bush with the truth, people will demand to see what he's gonna say next. Plus, it will put the rePukes on the defensive for some time.

There is enough scandalous behavior from this White House for Kerry to be able to do this at least a couple times a week. Let Kerry do the reporting in his speeches, let the pukes try to say it ain't so, and maybe... just maybe, the media will have to get off their collective asses and get to the truth!!!

1. Totally agree! Kerry are you listening?
Call the smirking chimp "A Liar!" repeat it over and over again. He's lied about so much, the WH or Kerry critics aren't even going to ask "about what" (that would be called in trial-lawyer circles "opening the door"). It's a win-win.

2. Sorry, This is Edwards's Job
Kerry should *NOT* turn into a hatchet man. It becomes predictable, diminishes Kerry and makes him look desperate. He has to score points without becoming an attack dog.

It's different from playing nice. Clinton struck the right balance. So did Gore after Labor Day 2000.

3. I'm Not Talking Hatchet Man Here !!!
He did it just perfect today, and I'm bettin there are many people that were watching when CNN cut away right after being told by Kerry that Bush had let Bin Laden get away. This is probably 'news' to many of CNN's viewers. And the hope is that they will demand more on it.

I'm just suggesting that Kerry find more of these gems that will get viewers to demand to know what he's talking about. I'm thinking that he'd get more airtime, and the media would have to actually examine the charge.

5. First people say he's got to go on the attack
Then they say he's got to bring in Edwards or someone else to attack while he stays clear.

He's gonna do what he's gonna do, with or without anyone's approval. And it's starting to work. He's been doing this for 20 years. He knows what he's doing. He always comes up in the polls at the end.

He'll be fine folks. Let him do his stuff, while we do ours.

4. Oh good
He hammering on Tora Bora again.

I remember reading an old article from a couple years ago, when Tora Bora happened. He said his aids had to restrain him (by which I suppose he meant they had to keep him from completely blowing his stack to the press.) That incident bugs the stuffins out of him. Glad he's back to making that point.

6. i really disagree with this
i see this approach as repeatedly throwing books at people until they understand they are in a library ... i think Kerry needs to "own" what people already know and believe ... and what's that?

Kerry needs to repeat over and over and over and over that there is no end in sight to what bush has done in Iraq ... things are getting worse ... we all see it on the news everyday ... it's very easy to get voters to go along with something they already know ... and Americans almost never see good news on their TV's from Iraq ... everyday is filled with kidnappings, bombings, dead GI's ... is this the face of democracy bush hoped to be showing us right before the election? is this the progress bush considers acceptable?

what will change in Iraq tomorrow? or the day after that? or the day after the day after that? why will things improve? the truth is, without a change in leadership, nothing will change ... does mr. bush truly expect to receive credit for stubborningly staying the course when things are worsening in Iraq almost everyday? leadership is not about being stubborningly inflexible ... leadership requires flexibility to set a new direction when confronted with failure ... we are paying far more than just our precious tax dollars to continue what may be an unwinnable war; we are paying with the precious lives of American soldiers and causing incredible hardships to their families ...

so repeat the mantra over and over and over and over ... bush has failed in Iraq ... bush has failed in Iraq ...

the "red meat" you call for is absolutely necessary ... but it has to be presented to fill-in "an existing framework" ... not the other way around ... you're putting the "red meat" before the library (it's an old expression ... you can look it up ...)

7. Kerry
has been doing a great job for the last week to two weeks. He's calling Bush to task without going over the line. His message is much sharper. If he continues what he's been doing, he'll win.

8. I Agree, And He Did Great Today !!!
For what little the media allowed us to see.

And THAT is my complaint. Not Kerry, the media!

Let Kerry manipulate the media for a change.
