Allow Clark to come in 2nd in NH (which he could do in his own right) and have huge mo going into SC where he can be a real force i.e. Bush in 2000. Kerry coming in 2nd in NH is meaningless as he won't be able to capture SC IMO and Dean would therefore maintain momentum in the state. If these anti-Dean guys really want to stop him, they need to drop out. (although they won't, they will just continue bickering and fracture the party).

12. You bring-up a valid point.

An argument can be made that the anti-Dean vote (which I do think exists, but to what extent, I don't know) is being split-up between five other candidates. If two or three were to drop-out, and if all of their supporters were to go to the other 2 or three non-Deans, the remaining candidates might have enough support to compete with Dean.

As things stand right now, Dean is anywhere from a 2-to-1 or a 3-to-1 lead in most national polls. If a candidate thinks Dean must be stopped for the good of the party, he might want to consider dropping and throwing support to another. Of course, egos won't let that happen..
