Any DUer who's been here awhile knows that (I'll get a warning or banned for consecutive posts) - does anyone give a shit about positive posts, or has EVERYONE boarded the Doomsday/Oh, the POLLS!/Why we're gonna lose boat? If no one wants to see what Kerry & Edwards are doing every day, working their butts off, I've got better ways to spend my time & energy. Like working the phone banks, registering new voters, adding material to my website for activists who DO give a shit. I have 50 more photos ready to post, but I can't do it alone.

In fact, I am in the top picture (lady in the white shirt with my right arm in the air). There's a lady with an Uncle Sam hat on to my left. My husband and I got a great picture of her outside. She is a big K/E supporter; now in her late 70's and a retired RN.

We all had so much fun at that rally. The place was packed. It was at the Johnstown War Memorial.

My step-dad is a Veteran for Kerry. He's been going every Tuesday to the Orlando K/E headquarters to volunteer. This is in spite of the fact that they have have had damage to their home from Ivan and now from Jeanne.

I am so jealous though, because I live in Texas, and NO ONE is coming here to campaign!

I really think it is unfair that we are not even considered as being in play, even though everyone I know is supporting Kerry/Edwards.

Just think how many more people they could attract if they would only come and rally with us.

I don't believe this is a so-called red state. There is a lot more people here that want Bush replaced. I called the national headquarters to try to persuade them to campaign here letting them know they have the support and they could generate even more if they would just swing on by, after-all we aren't that much out of the way from New Mexico.

I do not like the way that only a few states get to participate in the rallies, it makes me feel neglected, and disenfranchised!

is that you are not barraged with AWOL ads. Living in a swing state, it has been my last nail in the coffin for boycotting all network and commercial cable TV. Allergic to the sight and sound of dimson, I'm now reduced to PBS, Free Speech TV, BBC, TCM, Animal Planet, and The Weather Channel.

Actually, it's been a blessing for me, as the rest of the channels are constantly oozing with jingoistic, macho, consumerist, NASCAR, warfare history/glorification, bible thumping, reality debasement, sexist, wife-swapping, Millionaire, Hollywood, bounty hunter, redneck biker-building bullshit.
